Name Change?
I have, for the moment, changed the name of this blog from Splitting Atoms [explanation here] to Prior Knowledge (partly in honour of Arthur Prior).
The new name seems more obviously relevant to philosophy. Which do you guys prefer? Or do you have any alternative suggestions?

Ha, fair enough. We've just returned from a weekend philosophy trip which featured several very interesting talks. Perhaps my co-bloggers will write something about them, so as to continue the discussion here...?

I suggest finding a name that involves both New Zealand and philosophy. If you were as uncreative as Syracuse is with OrangePhilosophy (a name I liked at the time and still like to some degree), you could do KiwiPhilosophy, but I suspect you could come up with something better than that.

The present name is starting to grow on me actually. And if an oblique reference to Arthur Prior counts as involving NZ, then it even fulfills both of Jeremy's requirements :)
Unless others are particularly drawn to 'KiwiPhilosophy' or 'NZPhilosophy'...?
